  • Christy Bell

    DVM

A lifetime Gwinnett county native, Dr Christy Bell has been a veterinarian at VCA Falcon Village Animal Hospital since 2002. After attending Berry College and obtaining her undergraduate degree majoring in biochemistry, Dr Bell went to the University of Georgia for veterinary medicine. In 2009, Dr. Bell was named Medical Director and earned an award for Medical Director Rookie of the Year in 2010. Dr Bell is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association. In her free time, Dr Bell enjoys running, biking, cooking, live music and sporting events. She lives in Lawrenceville with her standard poodle, Melissa, and calico cat, Padme. Before I started working at VCA Falcon Village Animal Hospital, I knew it was a special place with high standards of medicine and patient care. I have grown to love my "Falcon Family", the employees and the client and patients. There is a bond between all of the Falcon Family members both old and new. We have welcomed new employees, clients and patients with open arms. Veterinary medicine is my passion and there is not a better place for me to be! .

  • Todd Nizialek

    DVM

We are please to announce our newest veterinarian to the VCA Falcon Village family! Dr Todd Nizialek joined our team in Oct 2013, transferring from VCA Animal Emergency Center of Gwinnett. After serving four years as a naval officer, Dr Nizialek pursued a career in veterinary medicine. He began in mixed animal pratice, then practiced several more years in small animal general practice, before transferring to emergency medicine for the past decade. He enjoys the diversity and challenge of emergency medicine, particularly interesting medical cases. In his free time. Dr Nizialek enjoys spending time with his wife Sharon, children Emily and Drew and dogs Max and Ruby. He also is an avid reader, runner and appreciates sporting and current events. I enjoy veterinary medicine because I get a chance to serve people, care for animals and experience the variety of medical and surgical challenges that practicing provides, especially since our patients cannot speak for themselves. We get to play a small role in the bond that our clients have with their pets and building their trust in us personally and professionally is vitally important as veterinarians. I came to VCA Falcon Village because my practice values and philosophy align with the care that we strive to deliver here. .
